What is Placenta Encapsulation?
Placenta Encapsulation is undergoing a new revival in western cultures and is a rapidly growing service being sought out by women who desire a more natural approach to their postpartum experience and 4th Trimester.
The placenta is a nutrient rich, temporary organ, composed of many healing chemicals. It plays a vital role between mother and baby and its functions are complex. It contains amazing Oxytocin, Prolactin, Hemoglobin, and even Cortisone! Some view consuming one’s own placenta (placentophagy) as a way of celebrating the placenta’s significance both during pregnancy and postpartum. Opting to encapsulate over other known preparation methods allows you the opportunity to consume your placenta in a more discreet and palatable way.

Placenta Capsules are prepared in the Traditional Method which begins with gentle steaming, followed by dehydrating for 18+ hours at food safe temperatures prior to encapsulating. Your capsules are 100% your placenta with no additional add-ins.
Pick up and delivery included within Calgary city limits. (+$30 for Airdrie, Cochrane and Okotoks)
Quick turn around time (often sooner than 48 hours)

Placenta Tincture

Placenta Tincture is an ideal way to extend use of your placenta beyond the suggested 6 week consumption timeline that capsules offer. Placenta tincture is a High Proof alcohol tincture combined with your placenta. Placenta Tincture will store indefinitely.
Your Placenta Tincture may be used several times a day, taking up to 40 drops a day

Perineal YONI Oil

50 ml - This Perineum Yoni Oil is for use on cuts, abrasions, tears and swelling post birth at the perineum and labia. As an oil, application is made easy when applying to tender areas and absorption is quick.
Works the same as a salve but in a more convenient oil application
Perineal Yoni Oil can be a standard oil or infused with your own placenta.This Perineal Yoni Oil is recommended for use immediately post birth for up to 6 weeks +.
Complete with pump for easy dispensing.
Composed of an infusion of Apricot Oil, Coconut Oil, lavender bud, calendula petal, plantain leaf, chamomile flower, comfrey root and Vitamin E oil
Placenta infused Perineal Yoni Oil is for topical use only for the person who birthed the placenta
HERBAL YONI TEA

85g - This bag makes up to 9L of Herbal Yoni Tea.
Specifically used for soothing, supportive relief of tissues that are swollen or have abrasions as well as sore tired muscles. Use this tea, freshly steeped in to a bath, chilled or warm in a sitz bath or in your peri bottle for cool, sigh worthy cleansing.
This tea contains pesticide free Plantain Leaf, Calendula Petal, Chamomile Flower, Rose Petals, Lavender Buds, Comfrey Leaves, Yarrow Herb and Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
One bag should last through your initial 4-5 days after birth. If you plan to bath for relaxing sore muscles two packages would be recommended over the first week postpartum.
Placenta Print

Placenta prints are often sought after as a visual reminder of the home, you grew, that housed and sustained your baby during your pregnancy. All placentas are unique and different from the next and deserve to be honoured through visual art.
Placenta Prints are done in an artistic approach
Completed on acid free archival watercolor paper and placed in a protective clear sleeve.

Placenta Ritual Package
Don’t want to consume your placenta, but are interested in honouring it? Perhaps a Placenta Ritual Package is for you!
Your Placenta Ritual package will contain your professionally processed placenta (not for consumption), dried and ground for safe storage, in a beautiful glass jar with a bamboo lid. Within the jar admixed your placenta are additional herbs and plants specially selected for their healing and metaphysical properties. In addition, your package will include a gorgeous, hand poured candle and intentionally crafted Ritual oil.
